Meet the Hosts

Tricia Swenson


Like most others, Tricia Swenson came to Vail for the winter but stayed for the summer, and everything in between. Besides loving the various outdoor activities that drew her here, she also strives to make people feel like they are a part of the community and enjoys sharing the stories of the Vail Valley with others.

Swenson’s story telling has spanned the globe. She has interviewed professional and Olympic athletes, artists, actors, musicians, chefs and many more for national and international television and Internet broadcasts. Prior to joining the Vail Daily, Swenson was the host on TV8’s “Good Morning Vail” for 19 years. Tricia has become a trusted media professional and the voice of the Vail Valley.

Ken Hoeve


Ken is not only one of the most recognized personalities in adventure broadcasting he has also pioneered the way audiences view the excitement. After spending years as an athlete and brand ambassador, Ken created ways to deliver mountain activities to viewers in a LIVE POV format. His approach to each broadcast is simple

“I want to give outdoor lovers the opportunity to see what the conditions are like, live, and help them better prepare for their next mountain adventure.”

Ashley LaFleur


After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Ashley moved to Colorado with her best friend for a “season”. As soon as she discovered snowboarding, it was clear that one season would never be enough. Ashley has worked as a host for ESPN’S X Games, the Dew Tour, Burton U.S. Open, Department of Defense Warrior Games, TV8 Vail, Boulder Channel 8, Resort Sports Network and TV8 Summit. 

“As soon as I heard about VDL, I knew I wanted to be a part of it! This unique concept is being brought to life by a powerhouse of talent from across the country and I’m honored to be included. I can’t wait to share our mountain lifestyle with viewers in a whole new way!

Ti Diaz


Ti is a long time Vail Valley local arriving much like others on a “2 week ski vacation” that seems to have never ended. Ti  is a certified Snowboard Instructor and enjoys the “high” altitude life as a snowboarder and skier.  When the winter season shifts gears, you can find Ti taking advantage of off-season camping, 4×4 off-roading, SUP or kayak river floats, hiking and biking, or being a tourist himself visiting the various small resort towns throughout Colorado.  Ti is currently a host with local Vail Valley radio station The Mile and is a former host at TV8.

Charli Kennedy


Charli was born and raised in Birmingham, England. Charli was accepted into a professional dance school in London at the same time she was auditioning for the Disney on Ice skating show. At the age of 17, she decided to take a contract with Disney on Ice. She traveled around the world as a principal skater performing  in the  show.  Charli also models with Aspen models, Max Talent and The Block Agency in Denver. Charli is currently show director and choreographer for the skating club of Vail where she loves to share her passion for the sport with her students.

Bratzo Horruitiner


Bratzo is a husband, father of three, and a passionate professional with 18 years of experience in positive youth development, sports coaching and youth-centered program design and management. He has led the development and implementation of several programs in the Vail Valley including mentoring, college scholarships, college preparation camps, academic soccer for middle school, the Copa soccer tournament, the 5th grade transition program, anti-bullying and community coaches.  He is currently the Executive Director for My Future Pathways, an organization that focuses on elevating education and employment opportunities for youth in the Vail Valley.

Meredith Kirkman


Meredith Kirkman, born and raised in Vail, Colorado, is an emerging film director, producer, and choreographer. She grew up on the stage. Her favorite roles include (Elle Woods) Legally Blonde, (Ariel) Footloose, and (Graziella) West Side Story. Kirkman received BFA in Musical Theatre with a dance emphasis at the Chicago College of Performing Arts. After graduation Kirkman directed and produced The Promise of the Butterfly, an independent feature-length film that made its world premiere at the 2019 Vail Film Festival and is distributed on Prime Video. She is the Executive Director of HER Film Camp, sponsored by Vail Valley Foundation’s YouthPower365. Connecting with people, delivering entertainment, and building new initiatives is her narrative. Meredith is ready to take on a hybrid role of Host/Producer with the dynamic Vail Daily Live team.
